I am all about freedom of speech, except on my dime. I am a fan of the moderated blog because I know that some of those readers of my subject matter can be a bit high strung at times. They might post something without thinking and I wish to prevent that.
The invited blog will still have the uninvited reader crash it or get through a backdoor.
Maybe it is a control thing, but I want dominion over my site.
I was intimidated over this Blog thing, word press, and dreamweaver. Stephanie worked with me one Sunday afternoon and demystified wordpress and talked me through buying a domain and setting up hosting.
